Christopher James Boyd

Dec 04, 1984 - Aug 11, 2021
N. Chesterfield, VA

Christopher James Boyd, 36, of N. Chesterfield, VA joined his dad, Jim to ride Harleys, play poker, and sing HTTR on August 11, 2021. Chris leaves his loving Mumma, Cindi and his dear Grammie, Betty L. Hajacos as well as his loyal seester, Elise, who will never stop believing in her brotherrrr. Chris loved being Uncle Bobo to Margot and Olive with the help of doggo supervisor Kali. He will be so missed by his Aunt PamPam and cousin Reagan. Chris was the life of every party and the protector of his friends and family. To know Chris was to have a brother and a friend with a heart of gold. His huge smile was only bested by his huge hugs, love of travel, and adventurous nature. Chris was a champion at billiards and a successful professional hazmat-certified driver.

Chris struggled with depression and grief and felt everything so deeply. As generous as he was with others, he could not give himself the same grace. He tried for a long time to overcome his internal torment and is finally at rest. If you or anyone you know is struggling with thoughts of despair and ending your life, text HELLO to 741741, call a friend you trust, or go to the nearest Emergency Room. Your life is worth something, even if you can’t see it right now.

“If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together… there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we are apart… I’ll always be with you.”  -Winnie the Pooh, A.A. Milne.

So deeply sad to hear of Chris passing. He worked with me at Interstate Batteries for a while. He was such a good guy we became good friends and shared a many of laughs together.May Jesus rain down His Grace and Peace on the family and friends Chris leaves behind because Chris will be dearly missed.

  3. Sorry for your loss. Myself and a couple other friends always enjoyed Chris’s company at Side Door and just spoke to him a few days prior. I always told my wife how nice of a guy he was. Truly shocked a week later. Enjoy them Harley rides brother!
